....but one of the perks living, for the first time, in a (very Americanised) "First World"country, is that you come in contact with all the very famous (yet unfamiliar to a SA girl like me) franchise brands - Starbucks, Burger King, TGI Friday's, Baskin Robbins etc. Of these lovelies Ive heard lots before - also about their calorie content and "overpriced" status - so I try to avoid them best I can. I'm having a bit of a hard time with Starbucks though - I think I might've fallen in love with their vanilla Frappuccino's.

Let's go to Starbucks on Thursday?! Are you in?
I don't think I could ever give up Starbucks! Especially their new cheese plates and their seasonal pumpkin spice latte :) xo
P.S. I have a jewelry giveaway going on today if you wanna partake!
Wait, wait, wait. Are you in SA? Meaning...does that mean South Africa?? Tell me it does!
And hey, those are delicious, amazing treats, those frappuchinos!
I think that was my first exposure to coffee, at like eleven or so, and I loved it since then and make my own way-too-sweet-but-I-love-it coffee daily!
Oh, im so glad to see Im not the only person that doesnt feel guilty about indulging in Starbucks :-)
Becca dearest, yes, I am South-African but Im currently living in South Korea until the end of the year!! Both are awesome countries. Have you been to SA before?

hope you are getting better… sore throat is not a lot of fun its just uncomfortable and difficult to swallow.
usually, i would take the Nim Jiom Cough Syrup (ninjiom-hk.cwahi.net/main_e.htm) which has a thick consistency formulation. it coats the throat and includes herbs that are particularly good for that application.
i hope it works on you as well.
