Today I am daydreaming about ...

... a trip to Bhutan.

This charming country, who invest in  Gross National Happiness and its equally charming (and colorful) royal couple stole my heart.

The Story of an African Farm

This past week, Chris and I exchanged the sun and beach sand to spend some time with his family on their game farm. It was wonderful.

We made fires,

and at night we pulled our beds out to the porch and slept in the cool evening breeze.

We walked barefoot all the time,

and we even camped,

having bread for dinner which we cooked on a stick over an open fire.

The farm was ours to explore on quad bikes and we even saw two or three wild buck.

At noon we went for loooong walks,

and our days ended with stargazing.

I love living in Africa!!!

Wants and Wishes

I made a little happy dance when I saw that South-African bookstores are also now stocking the design*sponge book. As a design*sponge addict, I cannot wait to have a copy of my own!

...Chanel Chance.
A few days ago I used the last little bit left in my bottle and now I miss smelling like me!

... and black peep-toe shoes.
Oh, how perfect would this Christian Louboutin's be?!

Have you seen The Tree of Life?

If you haven't, please do yourself a favour and go see it. It has the most beautiful imagery I have seen on film...EVER.

A Weekend in Pictures # 7 (Christmas happiness)

This lovely Christmas has been highlighted by lovely catnaps, beautiful lace table decor, piano playing, a Jasmin scented gift, pavlova and spending time with my family and a surprise visit by my gran who lives far away.

Hope you had a very merry Christmas!

....I've been having the blues.

Little sister's Brogues

Agapanthus (also very appropriately called Christmas Chandeliers) on my bedside table.

A growing collection,

a new dress,

...and a porcelain blue gift from Chris's mother.

Dear Santa...

I've been really good this year.
Hope its not too late but here is my Christmas wishlist. I couldnt really think of anything I want because right now I've got everything I need. After some serious thought I came up with three items:

this print,

Bvlgari's Jasmin Noir,

and a tomato red Moleskin Diary.

The next few days must be kind of crazy for you so good luck and have a merry Christmas.

Love, Truchen
