Romeo and Juliet

One of my favorite things to do, is to play the “favorites” game with Chris. It’s really silly and actually just entails us asking one another about our “favorites” like: “what’s your favorite song?” or “what’s your favorite color?” etc. Chris’s “favorites” always remains the same (which I find oddly comforting) whilst mine changes A LOT. One of my “favorites” that remained a constant though, for almost a decade now, is my favorite movie:

 I don’t know if it’s Leonardo Caprio (he was my first crush - no jokes!), the beautiful story, the amazing set-design, the fact that Baz Luhrmann is the director (I’m a huge fan of his work. He also directed Moulin Rouge which is a close second) or the religious icons (I absolutely love icons and even though I’m not Roman Catholic, I collect them just because they are so comforting and beautiful).....

....but if I had to choose a “favorite” about my favorite  movie, I would go with the icons.
