A Frida kind of Friday

Ever since my art teacher introduced me to her work in 9th grade, I've had a little crush on Frida Kahlo's work...

 

...so you can just imagine my joy when I came across this beautiful, Frida-inspired wedding...

Growing old, and more in love....

I don't know if it's only me (I highly doubt it) but I am pretty convinced that there is nothing more beautiful than an elderly couple still in love ......

 

...this is why I had to swallow hard to keep the tears at bay when I read this ...

Current Obsession: Greece

This past weekend, Chris amused me with the story of how Europe got its name!
It's quite an interesting (violent) story that includes Jupiter (sadly no Jasmin) and is set in beautiful, beautiful Greece.

Always quite curious about it, I decided to go read up some more about Greek mythology and all I really can say is....WOW.

Subsequently I’ve developed a little obsession with Greece....

....aaaaahhh.....
